So, HIPs for 3 bedroomed properties are a legal requirement from today onwards. This will bring many additional properties under the umbrella of HIPs.

The question is, will it also slow the 3 bedroomed market down, as has been said about HIPs for the 4 bedroomed. Of course, the slow down could just be the current nervous market, but HIP detractors are still going to use it as an excuse to give HIPs a kick.

Two bedroomed properties are next on the list, with all properties to be covered by EPCs and HIPs by the new year.
